Founded in 2017 by Nicole Cochener, Squishy Studio has become an integral part of the Las Vegas Arts scene. Nicole creates artwork big and small from paint, papers, and other media from everyday life. In addition to her own art, she has featured the artwork of dozens of local artists as monthly features and as participants in group shows.

Squishy aims to create beauty out of the common artifacts of daily life. Mixed media goes beyond different types of paints, and encompasses maps, sheet music, violins, mannequins, and more. She seeks to push the boundaries of what can be considered art, treating it more as a function than a definition.
